DEARBORN — A teen is in custody in connection with the stabbing of several people at an extended stay Dearborn hotel.
Dearborn Police Corporal Dan Bartok told WWJ that officers responded to reports of screaming at WoodSpring Suites, near Ford and Southfield Freeway, around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 12.
When officers arrived, they discovered “multiple” people who were injured. According to Bartok, they were all taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Officers arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the case.
Police believe the motive stems from a domestic violence incident, but they are still investigating.
According to Bartok, there is “no threat to the public.”
No additional information was released.
