What are the requirements to apply for TCA?
- Low income: Your income must be below the limits established according to the size of your family. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about gross or net income, everything counts.

- Living in Florida
- You must be a U.S. citizen or have an immigration status that allows you to access these benefits.
- Adults in the home must be working, looking for work, or participating in work activities, unless they have a valid reason not to do so (such as caring for someone or having a disability).
- You cannot have too many liquid resources, (such as large amounts of money in the bank) since the program is designed for those who really need it.
- The help is not forever. The maximum is 4 years over a lifetime.
