A teenager stole a car and slammed it into a house in Delhi Township today.
At at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 400 block of Rexford Avenue in Delhi Township for a vehicle that had slammed into a single-family home. The car fled the area immediately after colliding.
A Deputy assigned to the Delhi Division found the car at a neighboring apartment complex and concluded that a 13-year-old had taken it without her mother’s knowledge. Three more juveniles were in the car when it crashed.
The home has sustained considerable damage.
There were no injuries.
