The wait is almost over; the new Costco Warehouse in Mundy Township will open this week.
Genesee County’s much-anticipated store will open on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Customers will be able to purchase food, furniture, tools, housewares, and more.
Costco seems to have everything. I saw a Facebook post asking which store was better, Costco Warehouse or Sam’s Club, and the overwhelming response was Costco.
I have no opinion about Costco because I’ve never been there. However, I have shopped at Sam’s Club and was pleased with my experience. After visiting the new Costco Warehouse in Mundy Township, I will probably have a preference between the two.
You probably already know where the new store is. If not, you must be new to the Earth. The Genesee County Costco is located at 6200 LaFontaine Way in Flint, 48507.
Reports indicate the store will open at 8:00 AM on Thursday, March 13, 2024.
You do need to purchase a membership to shop at Costco Warehouse. Membership options are as follows,
- Gold Star: $65 Per Year
- Executive: $130 Per Year
There is a vestibule set up at the store for guests to purchase memberships before the grand opening. Membership sign-up hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
