Urgent Walmart food recall issued in 20 states--full list of stores and goods.

Walmart has voluntarily recalled products in recent weeks, affecting hundreds of stores in 20 states nationwide.

Braga Newsweek reports that Frito-Lays recalled fresh broccoli and chips in December.

The broccoli was recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes. This can result in potentially fatal food poisoning.

Symptoms of Listeria include fever, aches, vomiting, and diarrhea. It can be especially dangerous for expectant mothers and newborns.

The Listeria was discovered during testing by the Texas Health and Human Services.

Affect products have the UPC code 6 81131 32884 5 and lot code BFFG327A6.

On the other hand, the Lay’s chips subject to the recall contain milk, which is not listed on the packaging.

Only stores in Washington and Oregon stocked them. Look for these products, which have the UPC code 28400 31041.

If you have a milk allergy, accidentally ingesting milk can cause life-threatening symptoms such as difficulty breathing, a wheeze, shock, and low blood pressure.
