Welcome Home Veterans, a Shiawassee County-based 501(c)3 veteran services foundation, is holding a “Country Legend Impersonators” concert at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds on Friday, July 3.
Gates will open at 5:30 for the 7 p.m. concert. Tickets will be $15 or $40 for a family of four; veterans will be admitted for $10.
The event is a fundraiser for the foundation, as they are currently seeking a building in Shiawassee County that they can develop into a permanent veterans housing facility, but these funds will also go towards their day-to-day services that help area veterans to find housing and jobs in the area.
The event will include professional impersonators that will cover songs by Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Chosen, Sylvia Taylor, Jordan Sovis and Sierra Stowe, as well as
local artists. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, or interested parties can contact the WHV office at (989) 723-3807 for advance orders.
