The Small Business Development Center (SBDCMichigan) will be providing a seminar on “Writing a Business Plan” 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. This workshop is designed for individuals who are planning to open a business and want to take steps to assure success in their business planning. The course will address information based planning, customer identification, assessing competition, marketing, finance, operations and management. A business plan template will be provided with the first steps for creating a draft plan included. To augment the class, examples of business plans will be provided to increase learning.
Individuals may register for the seminar online at www.SBDCMichigan.org or by calling (989) 723-5149. There is a $10 per person fee. The seminar will be at the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce offices, 215 N. Water Street in Owosso. Pre-registration is requested by Monday, Nov. 2.
