Turkeyville is staging “The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show” on Sept. 24 “and the Durand Union Station Travel Committee would like to take you there,” said a member of the committee.

The west Michigan dinner theater is featuring the sisters of Hoboken, a group of nuns who have been invited to sing at what they believe is the famed Hollywood Bowl. When they arrive, however, they find they are performing at the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama. Undeterred, they find an even bigger opportunity across the street.

Persons will enjoy a soundtrack that includes “Hello Hollywood,” “The Plot,” “The Bowling Ball Blues,” “The Flickers” and “Don’t Look Back.”

The motorcoach will leave Durand Union Station at 10:15 a.m. and return around 6 p.m. “Cost of the trip is $70 and includes a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Payment is due by Sept. 10,” it was noted.

Parking is in the “overnight parking” section of the Depot parking lot. For more information and to make reservations, persons may call (989) 288-3561 from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, or send payments to Durand Union Station, P.O. Box 106, Durand, MI 48429. Persons should note Turkeyville on the check.
