Trump criticizes the president for making the transition more difficult and attacks Biden for last-minute policy moves

During an interview with Hugh Hewitt on Monday, President-elect Donald Trump slammed President Biden’s last-minute policy decisions, accusing him of complicating a “smooth transition”.

“I just found out that Biden has banned all oil and gas drilling across 625 million acres of US coastal territory. It’s ridiculous; I’ll unban it right away, and I have the right to do so; what is he doing? “Why is he doing this?” Trump said. “You know what? We have something that no one else has.

Nobody has as much as we do, and it will be even more by the end because I will be able to expand.”

Biden announced the plan on Monday, saying he is using his authority to protect offshore areas along the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and parts of Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea from future oil and gas leasing.

Trump told Hewitt, “We have oil and gas at a price that no one else does, and we’re going to take advantage of it. When I see someone say he’s going to ban 625 million acres, he has no idea what that is or what 625 million acres would look like, and we can’t let that happen in our country.

It’s our most valuable economic asset, and we will not let that happen to our country.”

“However, you are giving up our most valuable assets. I mean, if you haven’t looked at a map, you don’t know what 625 million acres is, and he’s giving it all away,” Trump said. “The good news is I can change it immediately, it’ll be changed on day one.”

The president-elect also criticized Biden’s presidential medal of freedom recipients, particularly George Soros, a Democratic megadonor.

Trump claimed Biden’s administration was making things as difficult as possible for him.

“They talk about transitions; they always say they want a smooth transition from one party to the next, from one government to another. Well, they’re making things difficult.

“They’re throwing everything they can in the way, and they’re giving out trillions of dollars in nonsense, Green New Deal crap, that isn’t worth a damn thing,” Trump said, accusing Biden of throwing money at people.
