“This was the first year that the carnival was held in August instead of after Labor Day, and it was a success,” said Natalie Young. “About 100 children and their families attended and had tons of fun. The carnival marked the official end to the summer reading program.
“The children enjoyed playing games, trying to win a cake at the cake walk, and bouncing in the bounce house. Thank-you to everyone who helped with the carnival, including: Meijer for donating a gift card for prizes and Reeves for lending the popcorn machine.
