Tammy’s Bakery Opens 2nd Location

TAMMY HART opened her second Tammy’s Bakery and Café location on Monday, June 13 at 232 E. Grand River Rd., directly across from the Laingsburg Public Library. The restaurant specializes in large iced cinnamon buns, but also offers a full menu including omelets, burgers, sandwiches, fresh bread, cakes, and pies. Hart learned to bake from her grandmother; she shared the tradition by including her own grandchildren in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new bakery. Hart was also joined by members of the Laingsburg Business and Community Association and the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce for the special day. (Independent Photo/Jessica Hickey)
