SHIAWASSEE COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY members can be seen gathered around the non-perishable food items collected during the group’s July meeting. The goods will be donated to the Durand Area Loaves and Fishes organization. Some group members will add to the total before it is delivered to the Vernon Methodist Church to be distributed to local citizens that need a hand.
