SHERIFF CANDIDATE BRIAN BEGOLE held a meet and greet fundraising event Thursday, May 19 at Roma’s in Owosso. Guest chef “Uncle Millie” grilled burgers for the many people in attendance, and Ross Mead provided the entertainment for the evening.
BeGole, a sergeant with the Shiawassee County Sheriff Department with more than 25 years of experience serving the county, plans to restructure the sheriff’s department by evaluating every position, transferring manpower and resources, and rooting out politics. BeGole continued to make communication an important part of his campaign Thursday by telling those in attendance to feel free to make suggestions about how the sheriff’s department should be changed.
