The date of April 29 has been set for the first Corunna Middle School My School Color Run, and the event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Corunna Middle School, with on-site registration beginning at 5 p.m. The Corunna PTO is hosting the event as a healthy alternative to traditional product sale fundraising, and the event will be open to runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages.
Participants will have the choice of either a shorter walk/run or a 5K, both of which will be untimed. Throughout both courses, racers will pass through color splash zone where they will be doused in color.
The price of registration for current Corunna Public School students will be $20, while adults will be charged $25 until April 15 and $35 after that. Registration will include a race bib, color packet, and
t-shirt only for those registering before April 15. The registration form can be found on the Corunna Public Schools website, corunna.k12.mi.us.
