THE BURNS TOWNSHIP and Byron Chamber of Commerce Scholarships were recently awarded by Byron Chamber of Commerce President Beverly Miller and Burns Township Trustee Bill Bowers. Taylor Mackenzie and Emily Ritter were each awarded a $500 scholarship. Bowers said he plans on giving these awards as long as he is in office, and he would like to thank his wife for managing this for him and the Byron Chamber of Commerce for their support. He would also like to thank the three people on the selection committee for their input.
