The Corunna/Caledonia Branch of the Community District Library, 210 E. Corunna Avenue, will host Safe Canning Techniques 101 with Advanced Master Gardener and Registered Sanitarian Pam Malaska, 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 28. The presentation will include proper tools, methods of preserving food (water bath and pressure canner) and why it is important to understand and preserve food properly.
