State Rep. Ben Frederick (R-Owosso) attended Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State address in Lansing on Tuesday, Feb. 12 and shared the following response:

“I was appreciative of the governor’s repeated call for bipartisan cooperation and collaboration throughout the speech,” said Frederick. “I was particularly delighted to hear her champion the goal of 60 percent postsecondary credential attainment (to include technical training) within our workforce by 2030. While this is an aggressive goal, it is one which is very worthwhile for our state, and I look forward to working across the aisle to assist with this and other important priorities.”
