TACO BELL, on Lansing Road immediately east of the I-69/M-52 interchange in Perry, recently expressed gratitude for being selected as the August “Put Your Best Face Forward” merchant award winner.

Perry City Councilmember Terry Wood (front, left), noted that the fast food restaurant always looks neat and clean both inside and out, plus the landscaping is always well maintained. In response, it was noted that employee/cleaning captain Ken McGhee is responsible for the outdoor maintenance and does a great job.

Store managers gathering for the trophy presentation, included (no specific order): shift manager Lilly, assistant manager Felisha, shift managers Jodie and Emily, plus general manager Michal.

Judging for “Put Your Best Face Forward,” is based on overall appearance, clean sidewalks and windows, window presentation, flower displays (weeded and watered) and absence of trash.

As this month’s winner, Taco Bell, earned the right to display the traveling trophy in the business for one month. (Courtesy Photo)
