The Lodges of Durand, 8700 Monroe Rd. in Durand, will host “What I Love About Life,” a photographic art exhibit of seniors by photographer Jessica Grimley, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5. The event is free to the public, and all ages are welcome.

Gail Gauthier, who is employed at The Lodges of Durand, describes the event as “an inspiring exhibition of unique poster-sized photographic portraits of 23 seniors who reside at The Lodges of Durand.” She goes on to note, “Written on the posters are original quotes poignantly expressed by these older adults describing what they love about life, and how they are still looking forward.”

The event will be accessible for seniors and individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations. Music and refreshments will be served. Organizers ask individuals to RSVP by emailing ggauthier@thelodgesofdurand.com, or by calling (989) 288-6561.
