THE PERRY MARCHING RAMBLERS, under the direction of Garret Ernst, prepared for the 2016 season with a week of hard work at band camp at the Kettunen Center near Tustin in August. Those here represent the senior band members.
This year’s show features the rock music of Queen including the popular hits “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “We Will Rock You,” “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The 112-member band is being led on the field this year by Senior Drum Major Jessica Beattie, and Junior Drum Major, Trent Ivey.
The Marching Ramblers made their first appearances of the season at Perry’s varsity football games Sept. 1 and 9. Upcoming events include performances at PHS home football games Sept. 16, 23, and Oct. 21, PerryFest Parade, Sept. 17, MSBOA District V Marching Festival in Owosso, Oct. 10, and the fan-favorite Pops Concert,
Oct. 25 in the high school auditorium.
