FOUR OF THE newly-elected members of the Shiawassee County Board of Commissioners were sworn in by the Honorable Ward Clarkson on Thursday, Dec. 15, which happened to be the date of the current board’s final official meeting. The current board, which is comprised of Hartmann Aue from Precinct 1, John Horvath from Precinct 2, Gary Holzhausen from Precinct 3, Les Schneider from Precinct 4, Jeremy Root from Precinct 5, Jeff Bartz from Precinct 6, and John Plowman from Precinct 7, served together for

two years.

The new board members will officially take their seats on Jan. 1, with their first round of monthly meetings beginning Monday, Jan. 9. The new board will include Mike Bruff from Precinct 1, Dan McMaster from Precinct 2, Gary Holzhausen from Precinct 3, Brandon Marks from Precinct 4, Jeremy Root from Precinct 5, Jeff Bartz from Precinct 6, and Mark Coscarelli from Precinct 7.
