The Morrice Homecoming Festival, an Independence Day Celebration, is a go for the 11th year. The festival will be held on Saturday, June 25. It is a one-day event that brings families, friends, and the surrounding communities together.

New this year is the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus. The circus will be under a “Big Top,” rain or shine. They will feature two shows and advance tickets will be available at a discounted price. Also, there will be a garden tractor pull contest, parade, live entertainment, and much more. The Festival concludes at dusk with an awesome firework display. Again this year, we are inviting crafters and vendors to participate. Applications are available at a discounted price for crafters who sign up early.

As always, we need the community’s support to ensure this is an annual event. The next planning meeting is Tuesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at the Morrice Village Hall. If you would like to be involved as a volunteer, sponsor, crafter, or vendor, please contact Village Hall at (517) 625-4170 or Kim at (517) 625-1622. You can also visit our website at morrice.mi.us for further information as it becomes available.
