Wes White, a Missouri rancher, and his family appeared on “News Nation Live Sunday” from Alton, Missouri, after surviving tornadoes and storms in the South that killed at least 35 people.
The White family ranch remains intact, and no one was injured, but their neighbor’s property did not fare as well.
They previously lived in Alaska and experienced earthquakes before relocating to the Midwest.
“I’ve been through Arctic hurricanes before; I used to work in the Arctic, but this was unlike anything we’d ever felt before. “It’s sort of unexplainable,” Wes White told “News Nation Live Sunday.”
“I didn’t know it was a tornado, but I know something we never experienced before,” he mentioned.
Despite the intense anxiety and emotions, no animals or infrastructure were damaged on the White property.
The White family’s ranch, Tick Creek Ranch, raises cattle and horses. They can be found on social media, showcasing the realities of farm life.
“We build everything ourselves here and we would be rebuilding everything again if that [storm] path would have been just 200 feet this way, we would look just like our neighbors,” White told reporters.
