It’s Fat Tuesday, also known as Paczki Day in Michigan, and many people will wait in line at a local bakery for as long as it takes to eat these sweet, fattening Polish treats.
With so many different filling flavors to choose from, MLive asked you to vote for your favorite, and we promised to share the results today, Fat Tuesday.
We have a tie at the top, with raspberry and custard each receiving 380 votes. Chocolate ranks dead last. Here are the complete results.
- Raspberry: 29.5% – 380 votes
- Custard: 29.5% – 380 votes
- Lemon: 12.8% – 165 votes
- Prune: 7.3% – 94 votes
- Cherry: 6.4% – 83 votes
- Strawberry: 5.9% – 76 votes
- Apple: 5% – 65 votes
- Chocolate: 3.4% – 44 votes
The fact that strawberry finished near last place surprised us the most, given how well raspberry performed. We also didn’t expect chocolate to do so poorly with lemon and prune, but they finished high.
