Michigan Snowstorm 36 Hours of Snow Expected until Sunday

Gaylord, MI – Michigan residents will see widespread snowfall through Sunday, with the heaviest accumulation expected east of I- 75.

The National Weather Service in Gaylord predicts that light to moderate snow will fall for the next 36 hours.

Eastern Upper Michigan may receive 2 to 4 inches, while northwest Lower Michigan is expected to receive 2.5 to 4 inches. Northeast Lower Michigan may receive 1.5 to 3.6 inches.

Driving conditions will be hazardous due to snow on the roads and reduced visibility. Increasing winds Saturday night could cause blowing and drifting snow, compromising road safety.

Travelers should be prepared for icy conditions and potential delays.

Despite the light snowfall, roads will remain slick throughout the weekend.

Residents should drive cautiously and stay up to date on local weather conditions. Weather.gov/apx provides the most up-to-date information.
