Memorial Healthcare Alliance, a member of the East Blue Care Network Region, received a 1st place – BEST rating in both the Commercial Line of Business and the Medicare Advantage Line of Business for East Region Blue Care Network for the Quality Performance Recognition Program from Blue Care Network (BCN).
Out of 12 participating programs, Memorial ranked first with an 80.38 percent rating in commercial performance (ranging from 54.92 to 76.84 percent), and first with an 88.44 percent rating in Medicare Advantage Performance (ranging from 83.20 to 87.59).
The BCN tracks completed quality services annually, and recognizes the Memorial Medical Associates (MMA) Quality team, providers, and staff based on their quality performance of care in educating patients on preventative care and disease management services. Quality services include childhood immunizations, well care visits, physicals, diabetes monitoring and management services, blood pressure control, breast cancer screening, and colorectal cancer screening.
The MMA Quality team is dedicated to collaborating with the providers and staff by providing data, tools, and process revision to improve quality services for Memorial Healthcare’s patients.
