Memorial Healthcare Foundation has secured charitable gift commitments of more than $1 million in support of the Going to a Higher Level Campaign. “We are thrilled by generous commitments of donors at Memorial and in the community,” said Barb Nagengast, president of Memorial Healthcare Foundation. “Our board members, physicians, and staff provided great leadership with commitments of over $650,000. Our auxiliary and leading community donors have responded with enthusiasm as well. And we look forward to surpassing our $1.2 million campaign target with diligent effort in the coming months.”
The Going to a Higher Level Campaign is an effort to raise funds to renovate and redesign the Emergency Department at Memorial Healthcare – the only emergency department in Shiawassee County. A primary mission of Memorial Healthcare is providing the highest quality emergency medical care and the planned investment is expected to improve the quality of care and experience of each patient.
“There is no question that a gift to this campaign will help to save and change people’s lives,” said Matt Hufnagel, executive director of the foundation. “Anyone wishing to contribute or become involved in this vital effort is welcome to call (989) 729-4675.”
Memorial Healthcare Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation governed by an independent board of directors. The Foundation provides continuing financial support for the development and improvement of Memorial Healthcare’s programs, services, technology, and facilities.
