Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 28 from 8 until 10 a.m. for the annual “Make a Difference Day” at Memorial Healthcare’s Main Campus and Auditorium. This year, we will be helping our community by offering a free mobile food pantry beginning at 8:30 a.m. that not only includes food, but personal care items, and health and wellness information. We will also be offering free hats, mittens, and Halloween costumes beginning at 7 a.m.

On one day each year, Memorial Healthcare and area volunteers invite the community to participate in this uplifting event by making a difference and improving the lives of others. No matter who you are or where you’re from, everyone can unite with a common mission to make a difference in their community, because together we can make a difference.

“Make a Difference Day” is one of the largest annual single-days of community service nationwide. Whether it’s starting a project that helps one person, or working on one that benefits a whole community, every contribution makes a difference. Celebrated on the fourth Saturday of October, thousands of volunteers unite with the same common mission – “to improve the lives of others.”
