BULBS from the long-used Marquee of the Lebowsky Center (historically, The Capitol Theatre), are being sold for a $10 donation to help raise money for 900 new LED energy-efficient bulbs to re-light the Marquee, said OCP Executive Director Kathy Brooks during Tuesday’s Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce Networking at Noon in the OCP’s Studio Theater.
A new Marquee with LED panels will cost about $130,000 and OCP has received a more than $60,000 matching grant for the project – and has a short time to raise the matching money, said Brooks. Persons can also make a donation online at OCP’s website, owossoplayers.com.
