The third annual Kiwanis Kow Plop, a fundraiser for the 4-H, Shiawassee County Fair and the Shiawassee-Owosso Kiwanis Club, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in the Main Arena at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds.
Kow Plop tickets are $5 and persons do not need to be present to win. The first prize-winning ticket is $1,000 and there will be four second prize ticket winners of $200.
Tickets are being sold by Shiawassee-Owosso Kiwanis members and persons can call (989) 720-5072 for more details.
