THE DURAND VFW Auxiliary recently made a donation to the Durand Loaves and Fishes food bank, in the amount of $500, in memory of Sergeant Walter E. Hutchinson. Sgt. Hutchinson was killed in action 50 years ago – on Sept. 4, 1969 – while serving in the Vietnam War. Presenting the check to Pastor Marsh (right) of Loaves and Fishes was (from left) Sgt.
