In California, 135 migrants are deported every day as part of Trump's crackdown

CALIFORNIA – The United States deports an average of 135 migrants per day on flights to Mexico, according to a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official.

CBP Deputy Director Ricardo Moreno told El Sol Newspaper in Mexico City that since President Donald Trump took office, more than 4,000 people have been flown into Mexico’s interior. The United States has also deported migrants to Guatemala, Honduras, and Venezuela.

“The message is clear,” Moreno said. “President Trump’s executive orders have mandated that no further irregular entries into the United States occur. If you need to enter the country, you must do so legally through a port of entry.

Moreno emphasized that deportation is both an enforcement measure and a safety precaution for migrants.

“Illegal entries are extremely dangerous. We want migrants to avoid taking risks and understand that if they are apprehended, they will be convicted and deported. If they have a reason to cross the border, they should do so at a port of entry, he stated.

According to the Mexican government, as of March 3, 19,663 migrants had been deported since Trump took office on January 20. Of that total, 4,052 were not Mexican nationals.

The United States continues to enforce strict immigration policies, with deportation flights being a key component of Trump’s larger crackdown on illegal immigration.
