Rehabilitator Joe Rogers will be bringing Michigan’s Birds of Prey to Owosso. Come out to the DeVries Nature Conservancy on Sunday, Sept.11 to experience these majestic birds — up close and personal. Wildlife Biologist Joe Rogers, known throughout Michigan as The Bird Man, will be bringing some of his collection of 20 live, captive birds for an evening of learning, viewing and appreciation. Families with younger children are encouraged to attend the 3 p.m. session; the 4:30 pm session will be better suited to an older audience.

Suggested cost is a $2 donation. Participants are asked to bring their own seating. The program is held on the grounds, and in the case of rain will be moved into the barn. For more information, contact DNC at (989) 723-3365, or email info@devriesnc.org. For more information about DNC’s programs, visit the website at www.devriesnature.org.

The DeVries Nature Conservancy is located at 2635 North M-52, 1/4-mile north of the Northside Animal Hospital. Signs will direct guests to parking near the visitor center.
