PATRICK MCLEAN of Laingsburg was the grand prize winner Saturday in the Laingsburg Educational Advancement Foundation’s 9th Annual Reverse Raffle, taking home $3,000 cash. The event was again a sell-out, with only 175 tickets available. Held at Eagle Eye Golf Club, nearly $20,000 in cash and non-cash prizes were given away or auctioned off. This year the group held its first live auction in which a pig raised and donated by the Laingsburg FFA was auctioned, as well as a “rolling party” of various beverages.
