“I Am Tutoring,” a free tutoring service in the community, returns to the area this month after a summer recess. Tutoring will be at: Lennon United Methodist Church, 1014 Oak Street, Lennon, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Mondays; Owosso First United Methodist Church, 1500 N. Water, Owosso, 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; and Owosso Trinity United Methodist Church, 720 S. Shiawassee (M-52), 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays.
Open houses and registration are the week of Sept. 13 at each location during the listed times. Tutoring sessions will begin at each site the following week. The community is invited to visit the open houses to learn more about this service.
The open house at Owosso First UMC will be in the church parlor and guests at that site are requested to enter through the main east doors of the church. Durand United Methodist Church will take the program into the Durand schools at a later date. Further information will be announced when that program begins.
