MICHIGAN — A single-vehicle crash late Friday night left one man dead and another seriously injured, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 11:55 p.m. on Wright Road near Kinley Road.
Deputies said a 28-year-old man from Perrinton was driving northbound when he veered off the road and collided with a tree, trapping himself and his passenger inside the vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced the passenger, a 47-year-old man from Maple Rapids, dead at the scene.
The driver was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Michigan State Police, the Dallas Township Fire Department, Clinton Area Ambulance, and Clinton County Central Dispatch assisted at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
