Wednesday Night Live is back in Durand this summer and the group has bands booked for

7 p.m. every Wednesday through Aug. 5. The concert series is brought to the community with the help of many local businesses and organizations, including the Durand Rotary Club, Shaw’s Pharmacy, TVC/Lennon Telephone Company, State Farm Insurance, Blackmore Rowe Insurance, SAGELink Credit Union and C2AE. The Durand Farmers Market, which is open every Wednesday afternoon, is going to be more involved in the concert series this year, as several vendors are staying late to accommodate the concertgoers.

It will be The Hot Mess on July 15, Jenny Lynn & the Rukus on July 22, Fairlanes and Devilles on July 29 and the Pole Barn Rebels will conclude the series on Aug. 5.

All the shows will be located south of E. Main Street, just east of the Sandula Clock Tower, and they are free to the public (though donations are always accepted). Persons attending who arrive early can browse the Farmers Market and to get face painting by The Le Dias Clowns.
