THE CITY OF DURAND’S INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT is underway across the city and is expected to continue through October. The city’s tentative schedule shows many streets in the city’s southwest and northeast quadrants are to be completed by Sept., with top course paving, restoration, and clean-up to be completed by the end of the construction season in October. Though it is difficult to predict exactly when each portion of the project will be completed, City Manager Amy Roddy said recently that all phases of this year’s project are underway and scheduled to be completed this summer/fall, and that no additional streets will be removed and reconstructed this season.
