THE DURAND VFW and Auxiliary held a flag retirement ceremony on Sunday, June 14 in commemoration of Flag Day. The members of Post 2272 had not met in person since before the governor’s stay at home order went into effect in March. Durand VFW Post 2272 holds flag retirement ceremonies to retire flags with dignity and respect when they become worn, torn, faded or badly soiled.
