CHRISTMAS AT THE DEPOT took place at Durand Union Station on Saturday, Nov. 30 following Santa’s Light Parade. The event was organized by Durand Union Station, Inc., and the Durand Rotary and included entertainment from the Durand Madrigals, reindeer food making and children’s activities in the Michigan Railroad History Museum, crafts by Mollie Shay of Miss Mallie’s Sweets & Treats and everyone’s favorite, story time with Bart Harris in the upstairs ballroom. After exploring the many activities and entertainment throughout the Depot, children then got their chance to meet Santa, who received visitors in the Depot’s festively decorated boardroom.
