DURAND AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Executive Director Candyce Wolsfeld enthusiastically presented a number of upcoming Durand happenings at Chamber AM on Tuesday, July 10. As well as talking about Cars, Stars & Rock “N” Roll which took place on Wednesday, July 11, Wolsfeld mentioned the 29th Annual End of Summer Cruisin’ Car Show planned for Saturday, Sept. 1 (Labor Day weekend). She shared that a number of car show organizers are already “pumping up” for the 30th anniversary in 2019. After 325 vehicles participated in 2017, the car show remains as popular as ever.
For individuals interested in participating in the car show, please contact the Durand Area Chamber of Commerce at (989) 288-3715 or email office@durandchamber.com.
The Durand Wednesday Night Live performances continue this year, too. The Wednesday Night Live performances take place at 7 p.m. on Hagle Street, near the Sandula Clock Tower.
Another event to continue to look out for is the Durand Harvest Fest planned for early October, which will offer a beer tent, a band and activities for children.
