BILLY’S HOTDOGS OF OWOSSO set up shop at the Shiawassee County Fair this past week, and could be found serving up their hotdogs and sausages in front of the dog barn most of the week. Owner Bill Fromholz and his sidekick, Bob Peckham, were not just there to make money, as the pair pledged to give 40 percent of their weekly earnings back to the dog barn. Though 40 percent of weekly earnings only amounted to approximately $380, the generous cooks donated $500, and plan to serve fair customers again next year.

Fromholz and Peckham can usually be found serving their delicious products in the Napa Auto Parts or Home Depot parking lots, both located on M-21 in Owosso, but the Billy’s Hotdogs cart will be at the Mid-Michigan Old Gas Tractor Show in Oakley this weekend, and Fromholz urges area residents to come check out the show, and of course, save some room for a hotdog.
