Dog Theft Mystery Solved! Officers Rescue Stolen Basset Hound in Springfield

Lawrence County, Missouri – A Basset Hound that had been stolen from a Lawrence County family has returned home.

Officer Hern of the Aurora-Marionville Police Department, with assistance from the Springfield Police Department, located the dog in Springfield.

The photo above shows the family reunited with their beloved pet, Rooster.

According to the Aurora-Marionville Police Department, the theft suspect may face multiple charges.
