DAVID CARMICHAEL, of Mt. Morris, made an appearance at the “End of Summer Cruisin’” Car Show in Durand on Saturday, Sept. 2, along with his 1981 Delorean. David and his wife, Sharon, have owned the car for nine years, and the stainless steel vehicle has never been restored.
Carmichael can be seen dressed as Doc Brown from the movie Back to the Future, though he said he left his flux capacitor in the garage at home. While the Delorean looks like a speedy automobile, Carmichael said the car might be able to reach the desired 88 MPH “going downhill with a tailwind.”
