Bagged leaf pickup in the city of Corunna is scheduled to start Oct. 27 and will continue until Nov. 6. Only leaves that are bagged and left at the side of the street will be picked up during this time. Do not rake or blow leaves into the street.
Large brush will be picked up on the monthly pickup schedule on the last Wednesday of every month. Small piles of brush may be picked up with the bagged leaves if the brush is separated from the leaves.
City of Corunna residents with a city drop off sticker can take leaves and brush to the Drop Off Center at the end of Pine Street, behind the DPW building. Please empty bagged leaves and brush in the designated places and take all bags with you or dispose of them in the trash barrels on site. Stickers are free to City of Corunna residents and can be picked up at Corunna City Hall.
Hours of the Drop Off Center are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Residents are asked to report any misuse of the area. “If you see anyone without an orange city sticker in the area please report it to either the DPW at (989) 743-5040, the Corunna Police Department at (989) 743-6170, or by calling Central Dispatch at (989) 743-3411.
