The City of Corunna Department of Public Works will remove all grave blankets, wreaths and other material from gravesites in Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna the week of April 11 through 14. Anyone who wishes to keep grave items is asked to have them removed prior to that week.
The City of Corunna has set May 9 through 12 as city clean-up week. City residents may put small piles of brush and bagged leaves/grass clippings by the curb for free pick up. The city’s leaf and brush drop off center will also be open for anyone who wants to dispose of their own brush and leaves. Large piles of brush will be picked up on May 18. If using the leaf and brush drop off, please remember to empty leaves and brush out of all bags and dispose of the bags in the barrels at the drop off center or take them with you.
The drop off center is for City of Corunna residents only and you must have a window sticker to enter the site. Free stickers can be picked up at Corunna City Hall. Persons may call (989) 743-3650 for more information.
