Memorial Healthcare Foundation will be holding its annual Go Green! Go Blue! Tailgate Party on Friday, Oct. 28, at the Comstock Inn and Conference Center, 300 E. Main St., in Owosso. All are welcome to attend this annual high-spirited, in-state rivalry event.

New this year is a cornhole tournament that will be held prior to the main event. Cost is $30 per person and the teams consist of two players. Entry includes a ticket to the tailgate party for each player. The cornhole tournament begins at 5:30 p.m. For more information or to register, contact the Foundation office or email tyaklin@memorialhealthcare.org.

Tickets for the tailgate party are $20 per person (cash bar) with festivities kicking off at 6:30 pm. Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Foundation at (989)

729-4675 or at the door the evening of the event until capacity is reached.

Many exciting activities will be held throughout the evening including spirit merchandise sales, raffles, and a charity silent auction. Returning this year is “Dueling Pianos” a fun, spirited show to fire up the crowd. Individuals can also show their enthusiasm by purchasing a sign, car flag, or MSU or Michigan Candy Bars to support their favorite team. Signs are $5, car flags are $20, and candy bars are $3 each or two for $5 and are available at the Memorial Healthcare Foundation Office, located directly inside the main entrance of the hospital at 826 W. King St., in Owosso.

Go Green! or Go Blue! Sponsorships can also be purchased by contacting the Foundation office. Sponsorships are $100 and include two tickets to the event and your name in the program as either a

“Go Green!” or “Go Blue!” supporter.

This is a fundraising challenge between Michigan State University and University of Michigan fans. All proceeds raised will support Memorial Healthcare Surgical Services.
