The Owosso-Area Community Choir will start rehearsals Monday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The rehearsals will take place at the (former) Northgate Wesleyan Church, 1687 N. M-52. The choir will rehearse Monday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost for material is $20 for those participating.
The Community Thanksgiving Service, sponsored by the Owosso Ministerial Association will be held Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. in the Owosso Middle School, 215 N. Water Street. Each year the community-wide program takes a special offering to benefit a designated organization.
“Bringing area singers together and leading the community in a special time of giving thanks to God is a real blessing,” shared choir director Lynn Webster. “This year’s choral presentation is ‘Giving Thanks Through Praise And Worship’ and contains some incredible music. I’m confident this will be a special blessing to all who participate or attend.”
