On Saturday, Feb. 11, the Durand VFW Reed Raymond Post 2272 will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary Valentines Weekend Stand Up Comedy show. This year the show features Larry Reeb and Gerry Grossman (above). Grossman’s is a fabulously entertaining one-man comedy rock and roll show, featuring tremendous audience involvement with a repertoire of thousands of hits. His medleys of crowd requested hits are woven around his incredible comedy in a performance that keeps every audience rocking with music and rolling with laughter. For over thirty-five years Grossman has been wowing audiences with his incredible ability to play virtually any old rock and roll hit, and doing it so that every crowd rocks with music, and rolls with laughter.

Larry Reeb, aka Uncle Lar, is a regular on “The Bob & Tom Show,” syndicated in over 100 markets. Reeb has been voted Chicago Comedian of the Year, and has made numerous television and radio appearances.

Doors open for the performance at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 or two for $18. Tickets are available at the door or can be pre-purchased at Ed’s Standard or Shaw’s Pharmacy. Due to adult material, only persons 18 years of age or older will be admitted. An open bar is available along with food at the post Concession window. The VFW is located at 923 N. Saginaw St., in Durand.
