The book discussion group of the Durand Memorial Branch of the Shiawassee District Library will hold their first meeting of the fall at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in the library’s reading room. Instead of discussing one book, participants are asked to talk about their favorite books from the summer.
Anyone who wants to share what they read over the summer or is just looking for recommendations for books to read is welcome to attend the free program. A list of suggested titles will be compiled after the meeting and posted at the library as well.
The book group will also meet Oct. 26 to discuss Round Ireland with a Fridge by Tony Hawks. For more information, persons may contact the library, (989) 288-3743.
